It began with the actions of a teenager who did not know that she had magic within her until she was forced to kill. Amberlaine Stanton was walking home after another day of being bullied by her classmates. When the boy told her that her foster mother was ill and that she should follow him, she had no idea that he would try to kill her. A Blood Assassin in the guise of a boy, he planned to pierce the heart of Amberlaine and drain the Gift of magic which resided there. Instead, Amberlaine's forgotten heritage returned to her. After ripping the flesh from the Blood Assassin's throat, she used the magic inherent within her to turn the last of the creature's life blood into a Stone of Transformation. So began Amberlaine's path back to her true home, the Gifted Realm, and her rightful place as both a Princess and a Goddess. With the help of a Fire Opal Orb of Power, Amberlaine has defeated the plans of Mabon, the mad demi-God whose blood has fuelled the ambitions of The Priesthood and allowed them to hold the people of the land within the rigid grip of dogma and ceremony. Taken to the Land of the Walking Gods by the Son of Light, a new journey must begin.
