This is a high-level and original English grammar book for people whose mother tongue is not English. It focuses on common grammar problems that fairly proficient English users still encounter when studying or working in English. Each of the twenty chapters provides a mix of brief explanations and varied practice tasks. In the expectation that most users will already have much experience of taking courses in ESL (English as a Second Language) or EAP (English for Academic Purposes), many of the chapters present grammar points that are not easily found in standard grammar books, while the rest seek to approach the familiar from a novel perspective.
