Easy ways to boost your happiness the Ancient Mediterranean wayby someone who lives there - me!
The Ancient Greeks were masters of human behaviour and can teach us a lot about how to be happy.
They defined happiness as: “The joy you feel striving toward your potential”.
According to the Ancient Greek way of thinking, If you are unhappy, you have given up trying to reach this potential, or maybe you’ve convinced yourself that there is no such thing.
Happiness, then, is believing that you can achieve your full potential, making plans to achieve it and heading off on the journey that will one day take you there. Suffering along the way is to be expected; we're happier trying and failing than just lying down and giving up.
But first you must have the necessary tools to strive toward that potential.
The Ancient Greeks can show you how.
