Head trip

In 2009, Dorian Hargrove fell while skateboarding with his dog. He awoke 19 days later from a coma with half of his skull missing, a tracheostomy tube in his throat, and no recollection of what had happened. This is his story, from the day of the fall to the days he was in a coma (as his wife documented in her journal). This is his chronicle of what dealing with the isolation, the depression, the disfigurement, and the behavioral issues left from a traumatic brain injury.
