Betty Shepherd was one of nine children born to an alcoholic father and co-dependent mother. Betty endured many forms of abuse from the hands of her father but it all changed the moment he pointed a pistol at her head. She decided right then and there she would never run again as she had so many times before. At age 18 she was kicked out of the only home she had known to face a whole new series of challenges.Little did she know that she had another Father.
