As the summer heat starts to fade, in comes the winds of change. But what kind of wind will it be for the women of Hourglass. Will it be a warm wind of an Indian Summer, or a cold blast of a harsh northern wind telling tales of an early winter. Or maybe a little of both. With Eva's promise being fulfilled to take Annie to her home in the mountains, it starts a new chapter in their relationship. Not only for Annie and Eva, but it brings Annie in to the strange world of Heather's painting. Projecting Heather's unique visions onto the canvas, often causing both Annie and Eva to fear what Heather might see for their future. Or even worse for Kendra as both the paintings and Heather's mood grow darker as sleeps seems more elusive than ever. Even Erin and Dre find their own emotions being put in turmoil after a weekend at Eva's. Especially when Dre finally finds the answer to Eva's question about what it is she wants for herself. An answer she will not share with Erin, yet she will with Heather.
As for Heather, she continues to slip further into painting fever as the art show goes closer. Fortunately for both Heather and Kendra, they find a bond between them and love that only two sisters could share. Hopefully it may give them both the strength to take on what is to come.
