    A short time ago deep anxiety and stress ruled over every area of my life. (O.C.D and P.T.S.D.) Their hold has diminished greatly because I write out my problems. Negativity needs an outlet, stuck inside your body it's only doing you harm so crystallise any troubles in writing and find some inner peace. It works brilliantly for me.

    How To Stop Worrying And Write Yourself Happy is not about creative brilliance or impressing anyone, writing is a way to regain control and use words to process and heal rather than to wound yourself - which is what that pesky voice in your head does non stop.
    Whether you are being made to deal with difficult people, need to get over a break up, have work problems or feel that life is just too busy the method in this book will help you to heal and enjoy life again.

    I suggest several types of writing - some can be done at your desk, between chores or in the car while you wait for the kids to come out of school - others will take longer - but they all get the worry/stress/problems out of your mind and body which means a healthier you.

    Try it and see how you can jettison a little or a lot of the negativity out of your system. Writing is a private, personal, analytical self help therapy. You'll be surprised what your brain spills out on to a page, it often reveals more than the one persitent thought that you keep repeating in your head and a solution can be seen more clearly. Write, review and grow!

    By the way - if you need medical help with mental health then get it, there's no shame in seeking to be healthy. If it was a broken leg you'd get it treated - right?! I see a counsellor about once a month but my writing method is a tool that I use every day, you can too.
