Disillusioned after watching yet another high-profile football game spoiled by an unsavoury incident that the referee failed to spot, Keith Howards decided that the sport he'd loved since childhood was in urgent need of repair. He could see the solution, it just seemed no-one else in the world could. If he wrote a piece of fiction that proved popular, maybe the governing bodies would take note and consider his approach. By instilling a fair degree of humour into his work, all his plans came to fruition, though, within a few short years, he was soon to regret ever putting pen to paper when the very worst thing he could ever have envisaged unfolded before his tear-filled eyes.
