This pamphlet tries to set forth some of the main facts on imports and exports, as shown by past experience, and how they have been related to farm prosperity. Other pamphlets which will be released later will discuss the various policies which the United States might adopt toward foreign trade after the war, and the advantages and disadvantages of various alternative policies.
