I’ve never been this old before

Children are so very honest, sometimes painfully so - Ive learned not to ask a question unless Im prepared for the answer! But you can count on little people not to mince words, to call a spade a spade in no uncertain terms, and tell you truths even grown-ups would never dare to. As a direct result of my granddaughters honest appraisal of me, I lost 30 pounds, got back into shape, and pursued a way of living that has, in essence, allowed me to feel beautiful again, a feeling I thought was lost forever. The more I look at the "before" photos, the more I realize that we sometimes see only what we want to.
