Jonathan's Mice: Yesterday, today and tomorrow, consists of a series of illustrations, all drawn by the author. The illustrations are arranged in pairs. There are five differences between each pair. The reader is encouraged to spot those differences, making this book an interactive one. Solutions are provided on the last few pages. The content of the book is arranged as a sort of timeline, from the distant past to the future. The characters are all cartoon mice and the genre of the book is humor. Whimsical characters, such as dinosaur mice ("dinomice") and a medieval mouse knight are included. Children, especially those between the ages of seven and eleven, may find the content enjoyable. Adults who like to have their own inner child come out to play may also find it appealing. The intention of this book is to make the challenge of "spotting the differences" light hearted and fun.
