The strong man, on the other hand, measures the opportunity before him, weighing the costs of failure against the treasures of success and glory. Fortunately, the tale I am about to recall is not one that leaves the noble souls of Alpha Kappa with regret. Rather, it is one that celebrates a daring, albeit foolish decision, to race against the ordinary. It is a tale that only few know in full, but one that would make Dale Earnhardt leap from his grave and issue a celebratory rebel yell. There are no villains in this tale, only heroes. And so we journey to Alexander City, Alabama, where we meet an extraordinary band of collegiate gentlemen celebrating the summer of 2010…
