Landscape and Figure Composition (English Edition)

THE following chapters on Landscape and Figure Composition, by Sadakichi Hartmann,
were originally written for the pages of The Photographic Times, wherein they first appeared. The practical value of the text, profusely illustrated as it was by photo engravings
celebrated paintings as well from original photographs, proved so great to the readers
of that magazine, as the chapters appeared from month to month, and were found to be so instructive to art students in general, that their author was induced to collect them, with all of the original illustrations, for re-publication in book form.
