Personal Finance Writers Think You’re Stupid
Lattes are not destroying the national economy, but you wouldn’t know it by reading the average personal finance e-book or blog post.
You don’t spend $10 a day on coffee, you don’t shop for fun, and you probably even buy many generic items. And yet every list of “life-changing financial advice” you read in search of advanced tips is composed of nonsense such as “ditch the daily latte” and “sock away spare change”.
Are You Sick of:
- 15-page personal finance “books” full of tips you’ve read a thousand times and implemented years ago?
- Deciphering the writing of people without a decent command of the English language?
- Being talked to like an idiot?
Then laugh along with the Frugal Troll as he eviscerates the worst cliches of the personal finance community, at the same time offering up original ideas and insights gained from a lifetime of cheap-assed-ness.
Hey, at the very least it’ll be entertaining.
