I work as a nurse in the tents where aliens come to choose their concubines, Earth women like me. The sordidness of it all gets under my skin, but despite that, I find it nearly impossible to deny the appeal of the doctor I work with, the large, glorious, purple alien, Zachariah. But I do. Until Sir Vorreka pays a visit. He’s there to shut down the lab where Zachariah develops a special serum that enhances mating. The serum is released by accident and I’m changed, eager to be claimed by two aliens. Problem is, if we can’t prove we’re mates, I’ll be shut down. Permanently.
