During the summer of 2012, my adventure began in Costa Rica with a side trip to the Isla Tortuga. From the capital, I ventured over to San Vito and the Las Cruces Biological Station.
Departing Costa Rica, I traveled through western Panama to the capital. I passed through Boquete, Santiago, and El Valle along the way checking out the highlights in each place. The capital was also fascinating to explore along with the Panama Canal and Isla Taboga.
Colombia was next and one of my favorite countries that I have visited throughout the world. Beginning in Cartagena, I ventured out to Islas del Rosario before moving on to Santa Marta. Bucaramanga, San Gil, Medellin, Manizales, Pereira, Ibague, and Armenia led me to Bogota and the end of my journey.
