The purpose was to introduce the reader to the Indian master who was a disciple of Ramana Maharshi, whose birth name was Harilal W. L. Poonja and later became known as Papaji or Poonjaji.

The work is organized so that after a brief account of Papaji's biography, show quotes that try to retrieve the wise words of this Indian master.
