Parental Discipline
In order for any parent to be successful at these techniques, they must recognize the development stages that a child will go through in order for the techniques to work. These disciplines must be applied in an age-appropriate way for each child. There is also an emphasis on getting the child’s input in solving problems and knowing the realization that he or she is either a part of the problem or part of the solution in terms of making the right choice that will lead to the right outcome. Finally, the parents must “walk the talk” by being a role model for their children for the lessons to work.
