This 300 question personal trainer practice test was created by an exercise physiologist with over 20 years of experience. The author, who holds a MS in exercise science and a BS in chemistry and biology, is not only a self employed personal trainer himself, he has been TEACHING personal training for over 15 years. This gives him a unique insight into what trainers know - and don't know.
More than just containing facts, the author has purposely incorporated real life questions and issues that trainers will encounter in the real world. The goal is to help create personal trainers who are qualified, rather than just certified.
The test is divided into sections to let people easily grade themselves and see the areas that they understand as well as those that they need to improve on.
While author is NSCA certified as both a personal trainer (NSCA-CPT) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), this practice test will benefit anyone, no matter what fitness certification they are preparing for, such as NASM, ACE, IFTA, AAAI/ISMA, AFAA, WITS, ACSM and more.
