池のある公園によくある杭について観察してみました。杭にも種類があり昔ながらの木杭と鋼鉄製の鉄杭があります。木杭は時間とともに風化、あるいは腐ってその役目を終えます。どのくらいで寿命を迎えるのかわかりませんが、その腐っていく様は一見に値すると思っています。自然の営みからできたその池に人工的に打ち込まれた杭ではありますが、その並び方や出っ張り具合により、おもしろい風景を私たちに見せてくれるとおもいます。私が撮った公園の杭は、もうすぐ引退しそうな杭ばかりで、人工物が自然に溶け込む、または帰依する様子を独自の視点から写真に納め、その一生を見届けることができたなら幸せであると考えました。
