Have you been abused? Do you feel like you are just going through the motions of daily life? Do you feel like you are 10,000 miles from your family and loved ones? You’re so close to them but they feel so far away. Almost like you’re trapped in a bubble that’s impenetrable. You can’t get out and your loved ones can’t get in. Life is so wildly out of control and you feel like you are hanging on by a thread and yet you have no idea how to stop the roller coaster of emotions that you are perpetually bombarded with. Life is an emotional roller coaster that never stops. I felt all of this a more. Worse was feeling like I was going crazy… I was just waiting for the men with the “hug me” jackets to come take me away.
I was going through the motions of every day. I took care of my son, went to school and tried to be a wife. I actually thought that I was holding it together pretty well. I was wrong. So very wrong. I was falling apart at the seams. Unfortunately or fortunately, (depending on how you look at it) it took a close call with a suicide attempt and a great friend who talked me down for me to realize needed help. I couldn’t continue as I was or I was letting him have my power and letting him continue his control. That had to stop. I needed to get my life back. This is my story and I hope that it helps.
