Margaret Elaine Harris is a wife, mother to two (now grown) children, professional homemaker, antique dealer, a juvenile fiction author, an amateur animal rescuer and photographer. Over the years it has been her privilege to care for and rescue several species of animals, from wild birds and starved ponies to feral cats and sick dogs.
