Reggie and Donyell Fields were brothers. Growing up together in a lower-middle class neighborhood they shared good times and bad. Donyell grew up to become a police officer like his dad before him. However, somewhere along the way he lost his values and fell victim to a life of corruption. Reggie turned his attention to sports. He was a top high school athlete when a chain of disappointing events led him down a very dangerous path. A fight at a basketball game with a member of a gang snowballed into several years of violent retaliations. During that time Reggie witnessed several people, very dear to his heart, get killed. His dad taught him how to shoot a gun and Reggie’s competitive instincts and athletic ability turned him into a deadly Quick Draw artist.
He tried to stay within the boundaries of the law when seeking justification and vindication for the crimes that had taken place against his family. However, after being turned away by the police, including his own brother, he took matters into his own hands. He stalked the man that robbed him of his loved ones and using his unique talent for gun-fighting, he assumed the role of executioner. Fearlessly, he did battle with countless gang members on route to the man who was ultimately responsible for setting him on the path of death. His role as a vigilante eventually brings him face to face with his own brother, the police officer. Donny is forced to decide if he should do his job and stop Reggie in the name of the law, or to pardon him as his own blood relative. Reggie also must decide if blood is thicker than water, or if Donny’s corrupt life style puts him on the same level as any other criminal, making his life expendable.
This story is about a man who had taken an oath to uphold the law versus a man who’s breaking the law, in the name the justice. It’s about brother versus brother. Who’s right? Who’s wrong? Neither is willing to give in, which means someone has to die. But who?
