I've grown to enjoy wine in my old age, and so decided to set the final chapter of this series during the early days of Napa wine production.
In essence, the story is a sequel to Better Than Dreams, again featuring the Edwards family. Beginning at Matthew Horton's wake in Beaverton. The events move from Dallas, to the badlands of New Mexico, San Francisco and the the Barbary Coast, and finally to Rutherford, California.
As with the previous three novels, this tale is a stand alone historical romance. I learned a lot about wine production during my research. I hope you like Ranger's adventure.
