    Revolution (English Edition)

    Por Piet Hein Wokke

    Sobre

The Second World War rages through Europe and the Middle East isn't spared. In the capital of Beledar, food shortages lead Abdullah away from the path of the Prophet. On the other side of the country, the harsh laws of the desert show Khalid that God's rules are easier preached than followed.

When the war is over and a nation is born, Abdullah gets a job in the palace and Khalid joins the army. God seems to favour the young men and both rise quickly through the ranks. Although they are ambitious, they want what’s best for their country and they work hard to help build it.

But then the king starts to de-Islamise Beledar and everything changes. Suddenly, Khalid and Abdullah find themselves on opposing ends of a looming civil war. Sunni and Shi'i, royalist and revolutionary. One will alter the fate of the country, while the other will shape its future.
