This story first appeared in the book "Hidden Feelings" But it has now been extended, as well as reworked, with a new extended ending.
Ashley and Lisa had stayed friends, even after Lisa's Dad had a large win on the football pools, and brought a large house, and a restaurant nearby. Mainly because Ashley was besotted with Lisa's older Gay Sister Nikki.
Ashley went to work in the restaurant, and after time Ashley and Nikki were seeing each other. But nine months on, and they were caught in bed together by Nikki's Mum.
Ashley lost her job, and Nikki lost her home, as her Mum preferred her to live elsewhere.
Nikki brought forward her plans to travel Europe with her friend Jess, and left Ashley at home waiting for her.
The first year past and Nikki wasn't home. By the second year, Ashley decided to move on with her life, but still thought about Nikki most days, working and sleeping her way around Europe, and she wasn't far wrong.
So four years on, and Ashley had met Paula, subconsciously, the nearest girl to Nikki she had met.
Five years had now past, and Ashley and Paula are to be married. But a family tragedy has meant Nikki has returned. So what will Ashley do? Will she go and confront Nikki for not coming back? Or will she just show her that she has moved on? But how will she feel when she sees her again?
Why at the first chance she got after hearing she was back, did Ashley go looking for the small rock that Nikki had given her all those years ago, and why had she kept it? Had she been hiding her feelings for these years?
