Legendary rock group, The Elements, have just finished their first new album in twenty years. Fans and the record company alike just can’t wait to hear it. There’s just one problem, the lead singer has died and the bands guitarist has run off with the only copy of the album.
The record company hires the best detective money can buy, Sláine Monaghan, the man with possibly the best kept hair in all Florida, to find and return the album. Sláine has to contend with a homicidal pimp intent on breaking into the music business, any way he can, an egomaniacal record company boss as a client and perhaps the greatest mystery faced by any detective, figuring out the woman in his life.
