Craig Stumpter is a young man living in the Midwest. On the ranch where he is working he hears about the Oregon country and specifically the Rogue river valley. He takes his horse, buys a pack mule and heads overland over the mountains to the Oregon country.
At this time, in the early 1900's, it was quite an adventure traveling cross country. But Craig found that the beautiful valley he came to was in the middle of a cattle rustling war.
