Rottten Rides is an account of four bike rides around the Rotten boroughs of England - detailing how each borough functioned and what remains, if anything, of their rotten borough past.
Part 1 covers:-
The first bike ride which through the counties of Cumbria, Yorkshire lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk (plus two minor excursion s in Northamptonshire, Shropshire and Herefordshire.)
And the second bike ride through Wiltshire, Hamshire, Dorset and Somerset
There is a printed copy of this book available both in colour (expensive) and in black and white.
STOP PRESS - "Rotten Rides" is now available as an ibook - the complete book thatis - all three sections together. I haven't seen it but I imagine it looks better on an Apple ipad than it does on a Kindle. The ibook price is a tad under £5.50 as I tap. Whether I can set that lower I'm unsure - as a hardback it would certainly be worth four times that amount so I may leave it as it is anyway. Sure no one will be buying it anyway until 2032 - then you'll all be falling over yourselves to get one. But will I be here at all, at all?
