Saturday haircuts, tuesday funeral
Sobre
Daniel Tompkins tackles an assignment for his writing group, to write a short memoir about a critical event in his life. He decides to again write about the death of his mother, but to focus on what his dad went through on the weekend of intense activity. He settles on an event that typified his memories: the Saturday morning haircuts, and how his dad handled that. His adult interpretation of events were different than they had been when he was a teenager.
