Schlock! Webzine Vol 3 Iss 15 (English Edition)

    Por Omar ZahZah

    Sobre

This week in Out of the Aeons, the museum is besieged by frenzied cultists of foreign extraction, all anxious to make their obeisances before Ghatanothoa’s petrified victim… and meanwhile, The Repairer of Reputations reaches an insane climax.

There’s always a low in late August/ early September. They call it the silly season in the media: I call it the Dead Season – that’s when all the contributions come from dead (and therefore public domain) writers. I don’t use a planchette – except when I’m in communication with Obsidian Mercutio Tesla; I usually turn to www.gutenberg.com.

But it’s all over now! We welcome to the webzine sci-fi novelist Merita King, author of the Lilean Chronicles, with a tale of The Last Man. Also appearing for the first time is Omar ZahZah, poet and short story writer whose work has been seen in such publications as Vulcan: a literary dis-allusion, Poetic Diversity, The Chiron Review, RipRap, and Narrative. Furthermore, we welcome back Hollis Whitelock, whose story A Child’s Nightmare was published in Schlock! back in March. Since then, Hollis’ work has featured in YesterYear Fiction, Daily Love, and Linguistic Erosion. This time he contributes The Journey to the Serpiente Sea, a tale of industrious dwarves and bureaucratic elves. And we have another teaser from long-established Schlock! writer Nathan JDL Rowark, for his novel Infatuation – the Story of the Snow Queen.

Meanwhile, in Daniel’s Dream, our private eye learns from Maxine Beaujolais that he is going to die. In Varney, Charles Holland pursues the vampyre. And in After London, Felix helps the shepherds defend Wolfstead against the gipsies.
