Schlock! Webzine Vol 3 Issue 28 (English Edition)

    Por Mike Aronovitz

    Sobre

This week, Lovecraftiana II we learn of the horrors of sleep in Hypnos.

We also have the beginning of Black Sun, a new tale by Todd Nelsen, followed by The Matriarch by Mike Aronovitz, who has previously been published in Weird Tales, Demon Minds, Studies in the Fantastic, Midnight Zoo, The Leopard’s Realm, Slippery When Wet, Metal Scratches, Fiction on the Web, The Philly Fiction Anthology, and many more. In the latest instalment of The Days of Mr Thomas we finally meet the eponymous character and learn precisely why old peoples’ homes smell like that… Omar ZahZah shares with us the disturbing contents of A Note. We also have the latest chapters of Daniel’s Dream, Hilltop Manor, and A Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

And it’s a sad week for Schlock! Webzine as we bid a final farewell to Varney the Vampire, that classic undead tale that has been with us since the very beginning, in April 2011.

Editor’s Note: Schlock! Webzine is still accepting submissions for the special two-week Christmas / New Year edition! Send tales of horror, fantasy and science fiction with a seasonal flavour to editor@schlock.co.uk

Art from J Dubois featured this week: Edgewall Cantilever. More of the same at www.artwanted.com/dubois.

We’re also showcasing Black Rain, by Blackwater Jukebox from their album Sleaze of The Reaper. BLACK RAIN’s origin is unknown. It was discovered on an unlabelled cylinder recording within the Smithsonian restricted archives.
