    Por Jason Osmond

    Sobre

This week James Rhodes is unavailable so there’s a Hettford hiatus, and no Mr. Thomas either, but nevertheless we have a whole host of dark delights. Firstly, we introduce the work of Jason Osmond, a writer and entertainer from a world-renowned family of entertainers, whose submission John Brown is a story of sin, suffering, and seriously unpleasant bowel movements. Then there’s a tale of witchcraft and fatal flaws from Mark Slade, whose podcast Dark Dreams is featuring my short story Off To Bedlam Without Any Supper, published pseudonymously in the first edition of Schlock, alongside a story by Tim Waggoner; both are read by the legendary ES Wynn. It’s followed by Joseph J Patchen’s tale of love from beyond the grave, Notions. And meanwhile Kevin L. Jones is Trapped Between the Seconds.

In The Thousand Nights and a Night, the Fisherman is puzzled by the mystery of the varicoloured fish. Daryll learns of another killing by Sam-I-Am in Cut, while Graedon listens to Jamarra’s tale in The Caves of Mars. Anthony Rogers experiences life in the 25th century, while At The Centre Of The Earth, our dogged explorers experience hunger. And the barbarian Russell returns, at long last, in the next installment of HG Towne’s Star Thistle.

In other news, The Parsec Award finalists for speculative fiction podcasts have been announced. A Janitor’s Territory by Birke Duncan (published in the 108th issue of Schlock), contends with four other narratives in the category of Best Speculative Fiction Story: Large Cast.
