Twenty years ago a minor accident coupled with undue negligence lead the author to suffering chronic pain in both waist and back areas as a result of its resultant tissue damage. In addition, another sport related injury 5 years ago added severe knee hurts to the author with which even a simple knee bent would turned into excruciating pain. At his darkest hour the author had all but given up hope for full-recovery and accepted his unfortunate body pain as fate would have it. This all changed when similar sport injury unfortunately also befell on the author's young boy. Determined and vowed not to let his misery repeats and starts from such young age of his boy, the author was on a mission: after countless doctor visits and alternative 2nd opinions, as well as countless library research on-line or off-line, the author has really accumulated systematic and comprehensive understandings and insights into "pain" itself. The culmination of the author's research came to the author in one accidental discovery in the form of a simple physical act of "back-pounding". This is the missing link that connects the generative physiology of pain and effective treatment/rehabilitation. The author wants to share this discovery which has now helped his boy and himself to full recovery from the aforesaid chronic pains. The author sincerely wishes his regained joy thanks to this discovery would find chance, using this book as a vehicle, written in plain language, to reach out and benefit people whose suffering by chronic pains the author has all knew too well.
