Created by acclaimed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth, Four Feathers, Bandit Queen). She is Tara Mehta, current Devi incarnate, a normal woman hosting the essence of a celestial warrior created by the gods themselves. But as Tara decides to walk a path of her own choosing, away from the mandates of the pantheon, the gods decide to take matters into their own hands. Betrayed by her makers, bereft of allies, and tormented by her inner demons, Devi faces off with Kratha, the clawed apsara assassin, in a deadly duel to death.
