The young women captured when the Evening Star was boarded, have been transported to the rogue planet Akkadis. AnnaMarie, and the sisters Juliet and Janina, have been sold to a brothel called Damsels in Distress.
In addition to their other duties, the Damsels in Distress are expected to perform once each month in the Arena. Naked, they are harnessed in pairs, pulling small chariots in exhausting races to amuse the cheering crowds.
