Devoting particular attention to Strauss's interpretations of Thucydides, Plato, Xenophon, Farabi, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, and Carl Schmitt, the book also assesses the responsibility of Straussians--genuine and spurious--for the Iraq War.
