The City of the Sun is a philosophical utopian work written by the Italian Tommasa Camanella. This work contains a dialogue between a Knights Hospitaller grandmaster and a sea captain. The book describes a society where women, children, and goods are held in a common collective. Camanella foresees a world of peace where one monarchy rules.
