This part, 'The Omega Empire', was written in 2016. It is set in the future in 2046 and starts with a monument containing a flattened church bell. The story continues with more counter-productive attacks on the Collective being carried out by Kwiksnak Chicken. Another humorous tour by the Kwiksnak boss with the manikin occurs. More humour comes with a Kwiksnak doll that blinks, and a fast-food rally in Trafalgar Square that ends in disarray but to the Collective’s advantage. The time comes for Sir Peter and Dame Sarah to retire, and George and his wife, Philippa, to take over the running of the Collective and Oddsmore Hall. After developing the firm even further by starting an Alliance Division for associated companies, George is knighted.
As the pressure grows on Lord Bollard in the marketplace, he makes allegations about the Collective to the Monopolistic Investigations Office, which investigates but it backfires and it is Lords Bollard and Belvedere who are prosecuted for their crimes and go to jail although Lord Bollard is in jail longer than Lord Belvedere. When released, Lord Bollard’s health is poor so he and Lady Bollard go on a two months’ holiday. On their return with Lord Belvedere in young Belvedere’s plane the landing goes wrong and it crashes into the Bollards’ stately home, all four being killed in the resultant fireball which destroys the house. The Belvedere funeral is a dignified affair, but not so the Bollard funeral which is the subject of more humour. The Smallcroft estate and the Kwiksnak assets are bought by the Collective, which then becomes the dominant empire.
Lady Catherine, now a widow, sells her chain of fish and chip shops to the Collective and becomes a Director, taking over the running of the Catering Division. her home, Wakeford Abbey, becomes the Headqaurters of the Catering Division of the Ciollective, and is converted to operating at a profit following the Oddsmore Hall system. Her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Sharrock , also similarly convert their home, Sharrock Palce, and so do his siblings who own six Palaces in Europe. Sir Peter and Dame Sarah return to Oddsmore Hall, whilst Sir George and Lady Philippa build a new town, Petrah, on the Smallcroft estate, where George restores the church and installs a peal of bells in the tower, ending by telling the new Vicar the story of the flattened church bell monument.
