Climbing from the train at the little station of Newton Procorum, Roy Huntley is startled to find himself bundled into a car at gunpoint and driven to a deserted house in the depths of the English countryside. He has been mistaken for another man - a man whom he had previously spied making a hurried exit from the train. As soon as his kidnappers realise their mistake, Huntley is allowed to go free.
