The Journey is a true story about how a burning desire to experience what life has to offer drives a young man to make the decision to leave the path that is expected of him. Living at college and being in the middle of the social revolution that is going on in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, he is exposed to new and exciting possibilities. He is frustrated because others are driving in vans to California or backpacking around Europe, enjoying the fruits of being free.
