This book is part of a series called “The Never Ending Hike.” This series of books covers my career as a long distance hiker that has been ongoing for 5 years at the time I am writing this portion.
My never ending hike was started on May 1st 2011 and continues on to this very day…
Books covering the early periods of my hiking and other books I have written are available from me the author Steven Lange.

In the morning I wake. I am in my tent about 10 miles from Amicola Falls State Park. It is May 30th 2015. I am on Steve Tate rd. in Georgia.
Today I will begin my Appalachian trail portion of this year’s hike!
It is a big day! A new beginning! But also the ending of the 1,000 miles I have hiked up to this point so far this year!
I have my coffee as usual. I enjoy a quick breakfast and then begin my last road walk for a while.
Amicola Falls State Park. Another great milestone in this hike, and my life! It is a beautiful morning as I pack up and move out.
I walk along with the confidence of having 1,000 miles behind me already. Having hiked all the way from the Gulf of Mexico. From Crawfordville, Florida. I also know that I have at least 10,000 miles behind me in my long distance hiking career. I am amped to say the least for this challenge of doing the entire Appalachian trail in one season!
