The Tomb of Christ that exists in Japan: The birth of the Aomori(Japan) folk song Nanyadoyar (English Edition)

Why there is the Tomb of Christ in Shingo Village in the Sannohe District of Aomori Prefecture? When the discovery of the "Tomb of Christ" was announced in 1935, a flood of Japanese/foreign media and religious organizations reported their theories claiming such things are blasphemous against Jesus Christ. Later, research done by archaeologists concluded that it could not be the "Tomb of Christ," so please consider this story as a folk tale born from that area. However, I feel there exists some romanticism in the fact that this area still celebrates Christian holidays and that the "Tomb of Christ" still exists. This tale is a revision based on the story "Nanyadoyara and the Tomb of Christ" (the first edition was published in 2003) written by Chikahiro Yamada, an Aomori folk song expert.
