Facial tics, vocal tics, and body tics are something I take very personally because my now nine-year-old son, Eli, had them. Earlier this year (2006) he was formally diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome. This began a quest to find out all I could about the disease. I was most interested in ways it could be treated, and how I could help other parents in my same situation help their children and help calm their fear as well as their child's.I am not a doctor, and cannot give medical advice.
