TURF STARS 2017
The Turf Stars annual is a list of exciting young horses to follow during the Flat racing season selected by racing journalist and broadcaster Kel Mansfield who has worked in the great sport of horse racing for more than 40 years.
There are essays about each of the 30 horses describing their previous form and possible targets during the new season. The essays include many quotes from trainers, jockeys and connections.
The book also contains betting strategies, staking plans and advice on how to follow the horses listed in Turf Stars and enjoy the thrilling sport of racing to the full.
Last year's Turf Stars included Galileo Gold landed the 2,000 Guineas at 14-1 and was also successful at Royal Ascot at 6-1. There were many other good priced winners and placed horses in last year's Turf Stars annual including Ajaazi and Royal Artillery who won at Haydock Park on the day at 12-1 and 10-1 respectively.
