It gives a great overview of the Edwardian lady’s beauty sensibility. Best of all, we get a glimpse into the world of beauty and fashion that was “in” during the Edwardian era using modern language. Although some of the potions and lotions no longer exist today, the guide at the end of the book gives great resources to having that “Downton Gal” look without the hours of fuss and muss. It’s a great informational resource text.
