    Sobre

Recent events have made it important to teach the values of these basic human rights to new generations of readers like you because if we forget the lessons of the past, we are doomed to repeat our mistakes. While this book teaches you about these universal rights, it also shows you people who have struggled to make these declared rights a reality for many unfairly treated. In this way, it is hoped that you will see these rights are not something that can always be taken for granted but which must be fought and protected. It is also hoped that you can see how one person can and has made a difference to change the world for the better so you too know the power you have as one person to make a difference. You can be the change you wish to see in the world. You can be a voice for the voiceless to achieve fairness and justice for all. The future is in your hands. Make the most of it. Please enjoy this book and learn from its lessons.
