Chicago had been just one of many places in the U.S. that had similar outbreaks, but Chicago a larger city became overrun quickly leaving John and all the other survivors helpless and little choices. The military had blocked off all the roads in and out of the city and were planning on blowing the city up, as an attempt to kill off the virus and keep it from spreading. He faced many obstacles through out his in devours while travelling the streets of Chicago. John?s only escape was up?literally.
