Forty-seven traditional fairytales collated by famed anthropologist Andrew Lang, as one of his series of "Coloured" Fairy Books. Contains many childhood favourites, such as Thumbelina and The Story of the Emperor's New Clothes, as well as many forgotten classics like The Glass Mountain or The Snow-Daughter and the Fire-Son.
