New York clothing designer, Yeohlee believes that there is a magical component to clothes. She speaks of her designs as clothing in space, on the body, and in anthropometrics. The energetics of Yeohlee?s work are evident in the conservation that results from her design management. She husbands every resource and wastes little; unlike twentieth century fashion which has often been extravagantly wasteful of fabric. Her work has no doubt been influenced by eighteenth-century France and in many other cultures where the correct dress was to be cut and sewn with minimum excess; no more than what could readily be held in one hand.
